Background and experience
Based in Scotland near Edinburgh, Big Bada-Boom is an independent paint shop managed and operated by Russell Stout with years of experience in wet coat paint application for production and custom frames, delivering a professional finish that matches the quality of high-end factory bikes.
Professional paint designs are produced in collaboration with the customer to create a design that complements the type of frame, components, and finishing kit, ensuring your bike stands out at the local café stop or blends seamlessly into the landscape on the trails.
If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful refresh of a much-loved two-wheeled workhorse, another paint shop might be a better fit. However, if you have something special in mind get in touch to discuss your requirements and bring your ideas to life. You can find an outline of the process and a price guide below.
